Call to Worship
We come to hear the story of God’s faithfulness to generations past and share God’s faithful work among us in the present.
We come thankful for our Confirmands, and excited for their future.
We know that God is faithful and calls us forth in hope.
We thank God for his faithful love of [name your Confirmands, mentors, or others on the Confirmation journey].
Whatever else fails, God remains faithful.
We proclaim to our young people: nothing can separate you from the love of God. Thanks be to God for God’s steadfast love, God’s abiding presence, God’s redeeming work, and God’s call to lives of faithful fullness, mercy, justice, humility, love, andresurrection power. Amen.
